If you have been injured in a motor
vehicle accident in Pennsylvania, you may be entitled to
recover from available insurance policies and/or other persons
or corporations. These monetary benefits include a lump-sum
recovery for your injuries, as well as medical and
hospitalization, wage loss, uninsured motorist, underinsured
motorist, funeral and/or accidental death benefits. You may
also be entitled to work-related benefits like medical
insurance and long-term disability payments.
You may be entitled under a policy or
policies of insurance covering the vehicles involved in the
accident, your own policies of insurance and/or those of
relatives with whom you reside. You may also be eligible for
recovery of money and benefits even if you do not own a car,
do not have a driver's license, and/or are not an insured
under a motor vehicle insurance policy.
After an injury, you should get all the
medical care you need. Your claim should not be settled until
you have either recovered completely, or your future
limitations and impairments due to permanent injuries, if any,
have been ascertained.
If you were injured in a motor vehicle
accident, you should obtain legal representation before you
sign any documents or give any statements to an insurance
representative or investigator.
While I will make every effort to settle
your case without litigation, I will argue your case in court
to obtain a fair recovery. There is no charge to discuss your
case or respond to your e-mail; if I represent you, charges
for legal services are contingent on the outcome.
Note that a lawsuit must be filed within
two years after the accident occurs or it will be subject to
being dismissed as violating the statue of limitations.
